It's always an honor when I get to capture friends and family. That's why when Jenna reached out to me to capture her summer Michigan beach maternity photos, I was thrilled. Jenna and I have known each other for over a decade now, and Bennett, her three-year-old son, loved the camera. He had so much fun helping to take some photos of mom, dad, and baby brother.
Maternity sessions will always have a place in my heart. It truly is so special to capture a growing family, and Michigan certainly doesn't lack beautiful beachy locations such as Lake Huron, perfect for maternity sessions.
Fun on Lake Huron For Some Michigan Beach Maternity Photos
Jenna had two different outfits for her Michigan beach maternity photos. I especially loved her jean look with the open jeans and bump. It felt casual, intimate, and just perfect for a maternity session on the beach.
The beach is always a go-to spot because it's perfect for so many sessions, whether that's maternity photos, family photos, or engagement sessions. The beach is calming and can also be incredibly romantic. And not only that, but for family and maternity sessions, it provides a fun activity for families, whether you want to play in the sand or dip your toes in the water! I had such a good time capturing Jenna and her sweet family, and I hope to capture their next milestone, too.
