Shanika and Luke prepared for their big day separately at the Shinola Hotel, which made accommodations seamless for everyone. The suites provided the perfect spaces for both of them to get ready in style. Shanika looked stunning in her beautiful gown, complemented by her bridesmaids in sleek green dresses—an ideal choice for a fall wedding. With a theme of tropical minimalism, every detail truly suited the elegance of the venue.
A Shinola Hotel Wedding Ceremony on The Terrace & Portraits
The Shinola Hotel’s outdoor terrace provides a stunning ceremony space that perfectly captures the urban essence of downtown Detroit. For Shanika and Luke, this terrace was the perfect location for exchanging vows, enriched with traditional ceremonies honoring Shanika’s Sri Lankan heritage. It was an absolutely beautiful and unforgettable celebration!
